The Band will be displaying its costumes at the Launch this Saturday at Sun Life Stadium - Booth 6.

Mas announces its music on the road for Miami Broward One Carnival 2013
Miami/Fort
Lauderdale – July 16th 2013 - Emerging Band “D-Junction Mas” is pleased to announce their contracted DJ’s and Sound System for Miami Carnival
2013.
We
have managed to accumulate a cast of well-rounded entertainers, professionals
in their own right, who we believe will successfully create the perfect musical
experience for our masqueraders.
First
on our cast of is the infamous “Walshy Fire.” Highly renowned and respected throughout the
Caribbean music universe as a double-threat MC and selector for Miami’s Grammy winning Black Chiney Sound System, Walshy can
now also be found on the world’s biggest stages as the master of ceremonies for
Diplo’s genre-bending dancehall carnival, Major Lazer.
Also
on the cast is Miami’s Own Sizwe C. Sizwe
can best be described as a true Entertainer South Florida is proud to be
represented by such a dedicated artist.
Noted for his passion, his action-inspiring delivery and sharp lyrics,
his music is by definition as Soca as it gets.
His acclaim as a Hype-Man is also legendary and his understanding of
Soca and boundless energy makes him an asset to any band. We are excited for his contribution to our
team.
Next
on our cast is Jester – “It’s Not a
Joke.” Born and raised in Toronto,
Jester's world-class turntable skills have helped to elevate this talented DJ
far beyond the borders of his Northern homeland. Well known throughout Canada, The USA, Europe
and The Caribbean for expertly spinning Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, Soca, Electro
and countless other styles of music (all with consummate ease), Jester has more
than earned right to the title "North America’s Most Versatile DJ".
Next
Up is Base 2 Muzik Inc – BASE 2
MUZIK – A very well recognized DJ based in South Florida for the past 18 years.
Born in Trinidad, BASE 2 MUZIK started mixing and playing in his early teen years
with one of Trinidad’s top sound systems, Joy Production for over 10 years
before migrating to the US in his early 20’s and began his own brand. BASE 2 MUZIK currently hosts a radio program
on weekdays from 4pm which is broadcasted on four (4) stations
simultaneously. Known for his hype,
selections and mixing
ability,
BASE 2 MUZIK is true Carnival material.
Slim Vibes ends the line up for
our Music choices. An up and coming
South Florida deejay who is well-rounded in playing several genres of music but
specializes in dancehall and Soca. Born in Georgetown, Guyana but raised in
South Florida, Slim Vybez grew up mixing tapes and CDs of reggae, calypso and
hip-hop.
Sound
will be provided by SoundRev Media, Inc,
a Miami, Florida based company with over 25 years of experience
specializing in pro audio rentals, sound engineering and audio equipment
Installations. This company encompasses over two decades of experience with
Miami Broward One Carnival, providing top notch quality sound.
